Siem Reap’s Downtown area is a hub and full of excitement during the day and throughout the night. With Old Market at the entrance and Pub Street in the middle it provides a number of explorable options.

Old Market

The Old Market (Phsar Chas) area, including the nearby Pub Street, Pub Street alleys and the Night Markets, are favorites when visiting Siem Reap. Stretching from the river to the night markets on Sivutha Blvd, the entire area is now the dining, shopping and nightlife center of town.

The Lane

Today it’s developing into a trendy little enclave, home to many an expat’s favourite hangout

Ally West

Siem Reap’s freshest, funnest, chicest and most eccentric little street.

We at Shinta Mani don’t mind leaving the leafy French Quarter for either a small bite, maybe even a drink or two, these are our favorite spots when Downtown:

Miss Wong’s Cocktail Bar

The cherry-red lanterns suspended from the doorway beckon passersby to this hidden gem. Inside, slip into one of the intimate leather booths for an Indochine Martini. Easily the most atmospheric and most seductive bar in Siem Reap, it’s perfect for either a pre- or post-dinner drink, or on weekends, a bit of a party. Located in The Lane.
